Spin is friction,
not luck.
Every Aurelo paddle face is built from T700 raw carbon fibre, the same grade used in aerospace equipment and professional cycling gear. Left unpainted on purpose, the weave itself is the grip. Here's why that matters on every serve, dink, and roll.
The weave is the grip
Most paddles sold in Canada are made of fibreglass: flexible, fast to wear, and imprecise. Aurēlo uses T700 raw carbon fibre, left unpainted so the grip comes from the actual weave, not a coating that fades. The ball doesn't just bounce off this surface. It bites, and that grip holds up game after game, not just out of the box.
Enhanced spin, without the guesswork
Fibreglass paddles offer limited spin control and lose their surface texture within months. The textured T700 carbon surface generates enhanced spin control and holds its grit far longer, so the paddle performs the same in your hundredth game as it did in your first.
Flat coating.
Grip fades as the paint wears. Texture is superficial and rubs away quickly under consistent use.
Woven texture, structural.
Doesn't wear off. Grip is woven directly into the composite core matrix, maintaining consistent friction.
Ordinary paddle
- Fibreglass face material
- Small sweet spot
- High vibration feedback
- Limited spin control capacity
- Wears out in a matter of months
Aurēlo
- T700 raw carbon fibre build
- Significantly expanded sweet spot
- Extremely low kinetic vibration
- Enhanced high-friction spin control
- Durable, resilient structure built to last
A 16mm core built for the sweet spot
A thicker core changes what a paddle can do. Aurelo's 16mm polypropylene honeycomb core expands the sweet spot, so off-centre hits still feel controlled instead of punishing. The honeycomb construction also absorbs impact on every hit, keeping vibration low and your arm fresh through a full session, whether that's a weekend game in Vancouver, a tournament grind in Toronto, or a club night in Calgary.
Technical Specifications
The same standard, across every Aurelo product
Paddles were first because spin is where materials matter most. The same engineering discipline is carried into the rest of the Aurelo line as each product enters testing.
Duffel bags
100% polyester construction with black interlining and T-piping for shape stability, plus a polyethylene bottom support so the bag holds its form when loaded. Built for 13.2 gallons of gear, gym kit or a weekend away. With multiple inside pockets, a mesh side pocket, and an adjustable, removable padded shoulder strap.
Portable nets
Aircraft-grade aluminum framing with a quick-fold mechanism, engineered to hold regulation height and tension without the wobble of budget nets.
Apparel
Moisture-wicking, four-way stretch fabric designed for the lateral movement pickleball demands, without the bulk of standard court wear.
